Religious ceremonies will be held on October 31, 2001 at 115 Buddhist temples. An alms giving to 115 bhikkus and a Dhamma Deshana will be held at Ananda College on November 01, 2001. A felicitation for teachers will also take place on the same day.
Prof. Sudarshan Seneviratne of University of Peradeniya will deliver the `Olcott Memorial Lecture' during the second week of November. A blood donation campaign will also take place at the College premises on November 3, 2001.
A VCD and a book on the school's history in Sinhala and English will be released in January of 2002. Inter-school speech, debate and essay competitions have also been organized to mark the event.
