Oct 03, Colombo: This statement from the Ananda College Old Boys’ Association refers to recent media reports quoting a statement issued by Her Excellency the President on serious deterioration of discipline in the school system. The said media reports refer to serious conflicts amongst students and destruction of public property and had cited incidents that took place in several schools including Ananda College as examples.
The Ananda College Old Boys’ Association wishes to state categorically that there was no such incident involving Ananda College or its students.
