The Ananda Viharaya was completed and it was during his time that the college had its best results in Engineering and Medicine. He gave all encouragement to Cadeting, Scouting Sports and extra curricular activities. Ananda was built on a tradition of simplicity and sacrifice and Mr. Perusinghe gave the lead by adhering to these principles.
